The science of Ayurveda includes ancient teachings dedicated to protecting and replenishing the core of women's bodies, our womb. Modern lifestyle, stress, poor nutrition, lack of circadian rhythm are just some of the many things that slowly erode reproductive health, with impacts to not only the uterus, but the entire body.
At it's core, Ayurveda's practices guide us back to our true self, reconnect us with our intuition and empower us to listen to our body. For many women, hormone imbalances and challenges with menstruation or menopause, are all signs that the body needs help in finding it's way back to balance.
The womb is the seat of creativity, intuition and a woman's vitality. When we lose connection with our womb, or the connection is blocked, we lose connection with ourselves- and our body finds a way to let us know.
